The Basic, Standard and Complex rates are determined by the vehicle make, model and year. The rates can be identified in the following listing:
Basic: All vehicles up to 1999 or earlier and Key Start
Standard: All vehicles between 2000 – 2015 and Key Start
Complex: All vehicles from 2016 to current - Does not include push button or European vehicles, please call us to discuss options.
*To be eligible for concession rates, you need to present a valid Pension Concession Card or Health Care Card on your installation day

What do I need to bring on the day of installation?

A letter from the Department of Transport and Main Roads advising participation in the Performance-Based Program OR driver’s licence receipt with “I” condition OR driver’s licence with “I” condition (if “I” condition has been verified by TMR).

Pension Concession Care or Health Care Card (if applicable).

Proof of eligibility for the Government Financial Assistance Scheme (if applicable).

If you are not the registered operator of the vehicle, you are required to have the consent of the registered operator to have the Dräger Interlock installed.
How much is servicing and how often?
One month after installation, Your Drager interlock will need to be serviced again.
- The fee for the 3-monthly service & rental is $530 full rate / $344.50 concession.
- The fee for the 1-monthly service & rental is $200 full rate / $130 concession.
- There is also an option for Theft Protection Plan which is $7.00 per month, which covers the replacement of the Dräger Interlock in the event of theft or damage due to vandalism.
Missing a scheduled service extends your time in the program and costs $55 to unlock the device.
On average, the service of the Interlock (final data upload, violations, device check and visual inspection) takes less than 15 minutes!
