Cinnamon Donut Ball Recipe
Cinnamon Donut Ball Recipe
Ingredients
1½ cups self raising flour
1 cup yoghurt (Greek, natural, vanilla or your favourite variety)
100g butter, melted
For the Coating
Option 1: Classic Cinnamon Sugar
¼ cup caster sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Option 2: Mingle Cinnamon Donut Seasoning
Simply coat the warm donut balls in your favourite Cinnamon Donut Mingle seasoning blend for a quick and delicious alternative.
Method
Preheat your Rough Country 12V Air Fryer.
Combine the yoghurt and self raising flour until a dough forms.
If the mixture feels too sticky, add a little extra flour until workable.
Roll into golf ball sized portions.
Gently coat each ball in melted butter.
Place into the air fryer basket, leaving space between each ball.
Cook at 180°C until golden brown.
Cooking Time
When using a traditional household air fryer, these usually take around 8 minutes.
When cooking in the Rough Country Portable 12V Air Fryer, we recommend allowing approximately 15 minutes at 180°C, depending on ambient temperature, battery voltage and how full the basket is.
Always preheat your air fryer and cook until golden brown.
While still warm, roll the donut balls in either your homemade cinnamon sugar mixture or Mingle Cinnamon Donut seasoning.
Serve immediately for the ultimate campfire treat or allow to cool and store in the fridge.
